FAQ

What color should I choose to have a warm atmosphere under my awning?
Colors have a big impact on our wellbeing and can lend themselves to making a cool, warm or temperate atmosphere. Awning fabric color translates the light of the sun and has a direct influence as to how we perceive the light. A color such as blue will ‘cool’ the shade of the light and enhance our sensation of freshness. A color like yellow will ‘warm’ the shade of the light, giving a sensation of heat. A high quality fabric like Dickson will block out between 90 and 100% of UV radiation. If you want maximum protection, you should choose a heavier weight solution dyed acrylic fabric with a dark color. The higher the density of the weave, the more UV radiation is blocked out. Moreover, dark colors block out additional UV radiation.
